Windows 10: Problem updating Microsoft basic display adapter

Please I need help. Anytime I try to update my display adapter, the screen start to shake with some wavy lines and some sound. I've tried several times and that's what happens every day. After it has finished downloading, it start to install but during the installation, the screen the screen start to shake with some sound. Then the machine will restart automatically without installing the new driver.

the problem is cannot change microsoft basic display adapter, not getting full screen on display, also seeing a yellow arrow on the adapter in device manager, was able to get full screen when using win xp. how do i fix this problem,

With regard to your query, your Display Adapter is listed as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter instead of the correct driver name. If you have recently update your display card driver, and this problem comes along, what we can try to do here is to roll the
display adapter's driver back to it's previous version.

Please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter's category, and right-click Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, select
  Properties.
• Under Driver tab, choose Roll Back
  Driver.

If rolling back the driver is unavailable, update the display driver manually.

• In Device Manager, expand Display
  adapter's category and right-click Microsoft Basic
  Display Adapter, and select Properties.
• Under Driver tab, choose Update Driver.
• Select Browser my computer for driver software.
• Click the Browse button, then navigate to the folder where you place the downloaded display card driver setup file.
• Reboot the computer for the changes to take effect.

No Display after Microsoft Basic Display Adapter

10, try to install the drivers in compatibility mode.

Step 3: Follow the below steps to
place the computer in normal mode.

• Press Windows + R keys to open
  Run command.
• Type msconfig and press
  Enter.
• In the System Configuration window, click on
  General tab.
• Select Start-up selection as
  Normal startup, click on Apply
  and Ok.
• Follow onscreen instructions.
