Windows 10: Problem uploading files to web or send attachments via Gmail/Hotmail on windows 11

Hello,I am getting an error whenever I want to upload any type of files to the web, whether it is a web app or email provider.I am using windows 11 Home I bought my laptop a week ago and it had the windows 11 installed already so it wasn't an update from windows 10.I followed the thread under https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftedge/forum/all/cant-upload-anything-to-web-windows-11/195089f8-33b1-4184-b2d7-4daac6fb42fc and tried to install repair but it didn't solve the issue.I appreciate your help Thank you in advance

Cannot upload and attach files to the gmail account emails

I have windows and Microsoft edge on my Surface. I am unable to download the files attached to the gmails. Likewise, I cannot upload files and attach to the gmail that I want to send.

Any help would be appreciated.

Please answer the query, mentioned below:

• How do you access your Email account (Web browser or Email client)?

If you are using Mail app, I would suggest you to first check, if Hotmail account is configured on Mail app?

Try these steps below to configure Hotmail account on Mail app:

• 
  Type Mail App in the search bar on the desktop and click on
  Add account in the Mail app Window.
  
• 
  Check for Hotmail account on Choose an account Window. If it is not available, go to
  Other account.
  
• 
  Add you Hotmail account Email address and
  Password in the Other account Window and check, if it works.
  

If both Hotmail and Gmail account is configured on Mail app, you can switch between Gmail and Hotmail account on Mail app. By clicking on the respective account name on bottom left.

If you do not want to use Gmail account on Mail app, you can delete the Gmail account.

Try these steps below to delete the Gmail account on Mail app:

• 
  Type Mail App in the search bar on the desktop and click on
  Add account in the Mail app Window.
  
• 
  Check for Gmail account on Choose an account
  Window, then delete the Gmail account.
  

If you are using a web browser, I would suggest you to go to
https://www.mail.live.com and sign in using your Hotmail.com Email address.

Windows 11 gmail attachments

I purchased a new computer with Windows 11. I cannot attach files to outgoing emails. I am using Gmail. When composing, I click on the attachment button and then open button grays out when I select a file.
