Windows 10: Problem using mouse with Microsoft Ultimate Word Games

I have been having problems for a couple of months now using my mouse to play Microsoft Ultimate Word Games - Wordament and Word Twister. Trying to use basic maneuvers click and drag to trace words in the Wordament grid or to rearrange letter tiles to create words in Word Twister is very erratic. I'll "lose" the letters when trying to form words in Wordament, or, in the case of Word Twister, when I'm trying to drag letters to make words in the bottom tray, they'll go up to the upper tray as if I clicked on them instead of clicking and holding. Very annoying. I have no issues using my mou
