Windows 10: Problem while trying to install new programs

Hello,

I got a new computer with windows 10 already installed

I am trying to install some programs that I have download but encounter the following problem see attached.

The same msg when I use 'run as administrator' option. The same msg when I'm trying to change user account control - So I am stuck!




I use the fingerprint and it recognizes me for a sec I see me name for a sec but then it gets back to this msg..

Also, I'm not sure how to supply the admin user name &password:

1. There is not box for me to enter those details

2. Just to make sure - I should use my Microsoft account details *** Email address is removed for privacy *** as user name and my password for this account?

Installation Problems

so did it install any files? check in add/remove programs and see if its listed there,if it is removbe it and reboot and try again good luck*Toast :toast:

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

If you're still trying to install the programs, we suggest changing the compatibility mode of the installers before installing the programs. Follow the steps below:

• Right-click AOL Desktop installer or Facebook Gameroom.
  
• Select Properties.
  
• Go to Compatibility tab.
  
• Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for.
  
• Click the drop-down option and select any Windows previous version.
  
• Check Run this program as an administrator.
  
• Click Apply, then OK.
  
• Try to install the program using the installer.
