Windows 10: Problem while turning Windows on after sleep.

Greetings,I am facing one problem. Whenever I boot windows, it works fine. But when I am trying to turn on windows 10 pc from sleep, it shows black screen. Which means I always have to press and hold the power button and force shut down and turn on which is not good. So is there any idea where I can fix this? Because this always happens to my windows pc. So please answer my question.Thanks...

Windows 10 Sleep/Lock Problem

This advice did not work for me.

Some one wrote this.... just upgraded to Windows 10 and my monitor will not come back from Sleep or Lock Mode without turning off the computer and rebooting.

I am and I am having the same problem with not coming back from sleep mode. If I press the on off button the monitor will come back on
but everything is locked up and then I have to turn it off on the tower. And then turn it back on. What I have found to work is turning the power options to never turn off or sleep and then just turn off the
monitor during the day and then just shut it off at night.

I see that you system is still on even if the sleep mode option is turned on. This might be due to the change in the power plan settings.

Please follow the below methods and check if it works,

Method 1: I suggest you to run in-built Power troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting on the left pane, click on
  View All.
• Click on Power to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: If the above method doesn’t help, I would suggest you to reset and restore all of the default Power Plans back with their default settings. Follow the steps.

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Type Power Options and then Enter.
• In the left pane Select Change when the computer sleeps.
• Select Restore default settings on this plan.
• Restart the computer and check with the issue.

Windows 10 Anniversary Update problem with Sleep Mode

Hi,

As an initial troubleshooting step to resolve this issue, we suggest that you perform the following steps:

• Right-click on the Start Menu (Windows logo) and select Control Panel.
• Look for Power Options.
• On the left menu pane, click on Change when the computer sleeps.
• Click on the drop-down button beside Turn off the display: and
  Put the computer to sleep: and select Never for both of them.
• Click Save changes.
