    Remember when Microsoft was going to replace the Snipping Tool with a new app they called "Snip & Sketch"? I think they always knew from day one that was just an effort to deliberately annoy people into upgrading things they knew they didn't want to on their part. I was never disappointed by Snip & Sketch back on Windows 10, but I kind of have to be now, as the new Snipping Tool on Windows 11 isn't working at all, and it didn't even give me an error message or anything. And it's still missing the 1, 2, and 4 second delay options the original tool had! I've been going to places like gar

    Snipping tool not working

    I'm trying to use the Snipping Tool (Windows+Shift+S) but when it opens up to let me select which part of the screen to select, it blanks out the entire screen so that there is nothing to select. I'm not sure when this stopped working since I do not use it very often. I'm using:

    • Edition Windows 11 Pro
    • Version 21H2
    • Installed on ‎11/‎6/‎2021
    • OS build 22000.613
    • Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.613.0
    • The Snipping Tool shows version 11.2201.12.0
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Windows 10 Snipping Tool on Windows 7

    All it is is one extra step beyond what is native to windows 10. Yes, technically it would be easier to have the functionality of print built in to the Windows 7 version, but you just have to save it ,and right click on it ,and print.

    As far as getting the windows 10 version into windows7. I know there was a way to get the old winpaint, so maybe there's a way to get the snipping tool into 10, I don't know.

    im curious if i could compress, and upload the application to this post? 7zip doesnt seem to be allowed
