    Hi, As in the title, Windows 11 will not activate with the digital licence after a fresh install to a new partition. However, re-booting to the old partition confirms Windows is activated same digital licence; same Microsoft account; same PC. It has been reported by The Verge in November 2023 that 'Microsoft is investigating Windows activation issues that appear to be linked to the company’s recent move to block Windows 7 keys'. In a statement to The Verge, Bill Babonas, principal product manager of Windows indicated that “Microsoft is aware of these customers reports and is investigatin

    Cannot activate windows with my digital licence after installing it on a new machine.

    Due to a hardware issue I was forced to buy a new computer and install Windows fresh (to the new machine's C Drive).

    I have a digital licence attached to my Microsoft account and yet I cannot activate windows on this new machine. Windows cannot find a product key, and troubleshooting leads me nowhere. The old machine is no longer listed on my devices list, so I cannot see why my licence won't apply.

    Is there anyone available who could help with this?

    Hello! i install win11 in my previous win10 pc. and now i want to do a fresh install. if i install win 11 by using a USB , i lose my licence?. i have a digital licence previous activity in win10 .

    How is my digital licence reactivated upon fresh win10 install?

    I purchased free dos laptop and activated win 10 from store by buying digital licence. I am used to oem product key activation ready with a laptop purchase. digital lincece is something new to me. how does it work? Do I need to sign in with my hotmail adress
    and have internet connection to activate it everytime I fresh install windows 10?,

    Secondly the licence cost 699tl but on my credit card the provision shows it is 724. why microsoft charges higher than what it shows on the bill?
