    Hi All,

    My system spec is:

    Intel I7 Eight Core Processor
    Gigabyte Z390 UD Motherboard
    16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2666MHz RAM
    Windows 10 Professional 64 bit Version 1909

    I wonder if anyone can help, I have a problem with a filed called sodosicat.exe which appears on my PC that Kaspersky Internet Security identifies as a problem and "disinfects" it, following which Google Chrome stops working. I have contacted Kaspersky and am not really getting anywhere with them. I have searched on the web for any information on this file and can't find anything. I did have the new version of Edge installed on my PC and have uninstalled it and gone back to the old version of Edge. I have now reinstalled Chrome browser and my PC is OK at present. I had this issue yesterday and uninstalled Chrome and then reinstalled Chrome and ended it with the same problem today. I suspect that I will have the same problem tomorrow, I have searched via File Explorer and can't find any trace of sodosicat at present on my PC.

    Does anyone know what this file is for, it appears to be required for Google chrome to work, but Kaspersky identifies it as a problem and disinfects it.

    Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

    I changes .exe (Default) files data value, and now I can't open .exe files. Can anyone tell me the normal data value for .exe?
