    Hi,


    1. I have migrated to win10 from win7 dec 2019

    2. All was fine but after the process I was not able:

    • Add MS account in Activation setting dialogue try again etc etc,
    • Migrate local account Admin to MS Account dialogue try again etc etc,
    • When I tried add account for testing Windows program, the error 0x80190001 occurred,
    • When I tried to open Windows Show, the error 0x80131500 appeared,
    • When I try to use account for office have paid time period license I was not able to bound to a new created account neither to the the first one used during license ordering.
    • In few places it was 404 error when connecting to login.microsoft.com
    • the edge is not able to open any internal IP nor DNS address, local addresses work fine

    I think there is the common problem of all those issues. I spent days to find the solution:

    • edge is reinstslled
    • window10 migrate is made again
    • ip6 is on
    • I was using wifi and Ethernet cards, Ethernet card driver i reinstalled to newest version
    • I checked with two internet providers and modems with ip6 enabled
    • dns is set to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
    • I made clean restart
    • I stopped third party firewall and ant virus


    I red tons if hints nothing made to it working. I cant make clean installation of window10 I have too much to be installed.


    Please help.

    Hi,

    I had posted a question yesterday and received a prompt reply below. I can not respond directly as any link will direct to/open up in Microsoft Edge and it can't open it as my issue is still not resolved.

    I tried both suggestions but the issue is still there.

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you have issues with accessing Microsoft Edge. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

    I suggest you clear the Clear browsing data option
    of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    • Open Microsoft Edge, click on
      More Action
      at the right top corner.
    • Select Settings and click on
      Choose what to clear.
    • Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files
      and click on Clear.
    Now check with the issue.

    If the issue persists then, I suggest you to
    create a new user account
    and check if you still face the issue. To create it perform the steps mentioned below.

    • Press Windows key + R key, Run window opens.
    • Type control in the open box and click Ok.
    • Control Panel windows opens.
    • Click on User accounts and Family Safety.
    • Click on User Account and then click on
      Manage Accounts.
    • Now click on Add a new user and follow the instructions.
    Now check if the issue persists in the new user account.

  3. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

    Accessing EDGE

    Hello Dave,

    I understand the inconvenience you are facing in accessing Microsoft Edge, we will help you with this issue.

    Step 1: I suggest you to try restarting Microsoft Edge Browser
    and check if it helps.

    • Right click on Start button and click on
      Task Manager.
      Click on Details tab.
    • Click on microsoftedgeCP.exe
      and click End task. (Do the same for all the Microsoft Edge files)
    • Restart your Computer and check if it helps.

    Step 2: I recommend you to install all the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

    Steps:

    • Connect to the internet.
    • Press Windows key and type updates.
    • Click on Check for updates.
    • Under Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.
    • Try to install the updates being shown.
