Windows 10: Problem with admin message promt!

Hello, from 5.04.2023 I have problem with windows 10 pro version 19045.2788 , which is Up to Date in Updates. I am running domain user account , which do not have admin privilege's. But till today, button with blue-yellow guarding for admin privilege's worked fine. When I hit it, prompt message to enter admin user and pass pops up, i enter different from mine admin user and acc and everything works fine. But from today , I could no more get into inserting admin user and pass. For example, if I want to remove an app- before 5.04.2023 if asks me for admin user and pass to remove it - enter them

Windows 10 Task Manager and Command Promt(admin) not responding

Hi,

I'm using a Dell Inspirion laptop running Windows 10. McAfee LiveSafe for antivirus. I've been having the following problems intermittently, sometimes after I restart the laptop it works fine but restarting will not always fix it.

• When I left click the icon to open Google Chrome nothing happens, (occasionally Chrome will open 3 -5 mins later), IE works fine.
• When I try to open Task manager nothing happens for 3-5 mins then I receive the message "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."
• When I press Windows Key+X and try to open Command Promt(admin) nothing happens for 3-5 mins then I receive the message "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already
  installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." However regular command promt works fine. On the occasions when the laptop is working and I can access Command Promt (admin) to run sfc/scannow I get the message "Windows
  Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations".
• When I go to Settings>Update and Security that window freezes and I cannot select any of the options. When the laptop is working it updates itself but this has not fixed it.
• When I try to uninstall a program nothing happens at first or I receive the message "Please wait while the current program is finished uninstalling or being changed” And a few mins later a message pops up saying “An error occurred while trying to
  uninstall VLC media player*. It may have already been uninstalled. Would you like to remove VLC media player from the list of Programs and Features?” *VLC as an example, same for all programs.
• I would not be surprised if other programs were also affected but as I only really use the laptop to browse the web I haven't encountered them yet.

I thought at first it’s some sort of virus but McAffe hasn’t found anything and the as I said it is an intermittent problem which is not what I would expect from a virus but what do I know.

I’ve been trying to solve this for a few days and any help or advice would greatly appreciated.

admin rights keep disappearing!?!!

Hi guys,

I am actually having a problem at work that our IT department hasn't been able to figure out. I am supposed to be a member of the admin group. We are on a domain. The problem is that everytime I reboot the computer I loose my admin rights(no longer in the administrator group) and just become a normal user again. I have tried googling this and didn't get to many results.
I believe IT is just giving me local admin rights, not admin rights for the whole domain.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: It is on Windows XP Pro.
