    Problem with All-in-One Printer Deskjet F380 - Scanner not working


    Hello,I have an All-in-One Printer HP Deskjet F380. I can print but I can not scan.The app HP Scan and Capture is installed after Microsoft Store.Printer driver is correctly working.Scanner is not recognized and the device is recognized as "Other Devices\Deskjet F300 series" at Device Manager but driver is not provided by Microsoft.I used HP Print and Scan Doctor application but it indicates that drivers are provided by Microsoft for this model, not by HP.I'm stuck.Thank you in advance.Best regards.Dax Albret College Technician

    HP DeskJet F380 fails to install official drievrs

    I had the same problems under Windows 10 as mentioned above with my HP Deskjet F380 and after 3 weeks of searching for a solution it happened!!

    I downloaded the file HPPIW (install wizzard) from the HP site, than a right mouse click on the downloaded file and choose for the option "Solve compatibility problems", on the question "when worked your printer still correct"

    I choose for Windows 7 ( i never used Windows 7!!)

    After about half an hour, my HP Deskjet F380 worked again as always before, including all printer options!!

    I realize your concern. Let me help you with this issue.

    I suggest you to run Printer troubleshooter. Follow the steps.

    • Type Troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
    • In the left pane click on View all.
    • Select the Printer option and follow the on screen instructions.

    Also, suggest you to refer the below link, and check if it helps.
