Windows 10: Problem with blank area in middle of picture prints

Hello, I suddenly find that I cannot print complete pictures from the This PC > Picture folder. All prints are blank in the centre. When I print documents, emails all is fine it is just the pictures. I wonder if something has been affected by the windows update that happened recently because last week I could print complete pictures and this week there is this problem. If this is being picked up by Microsoft will there be a fix soon? I have seen other posts on help forums recently appearing about this and advice given about restarting the spooler etc. I have tried this and the problem continues. I use Windows 10. Many thanks.

Pictures won't print

To print a photo, you may use the Photos app. Follow these steps:

• Open the Photos app and then click on the picture.
• Click the 3 dots icon and then choose Print.

Windows 10 printing issue while printing picture from Document files.

• When you say that "I cannot print a picture from my Documents file", are you trying to print a picture present in a word document file or trying to print a picture on Windows 10?

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.
