Windows 10: Problem with BSODs, crashes after new SSD installed

I installed a new SSD in my PC and imaged my old SSD onto it, which caused it to crash randomly on the login page, reboot randomly, run very very slowly (upwards of 5 minutes to open the start menu, for instance), and freeze a lot. I reimaged, same thing. So I did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro and started from scratch and I'm still having the same problems.


I've run a disc check on the SSD (it claimed it's fine) and checked various things which haven't fixed the problem. I finally got a BSOD today that said:


Stop code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED


What failed: HIDCLASS.SYS

Research seems to be indicating it's a problem with a USB device, but I only have my mouse, keyboard, and a WIFI adaptor, all of which are using the exact same (up to date) drivers that were installed on the old SSD, which had no problems.


Any suggestions?

Microsoft Store Games Crash When Installed On SSD

Please reply to the following questions to help you further:

• Have you installed Windows in SSD or in HDD?
  
• How are you moving the applications to SSD?
  
• What is the error code/message you get when the computer crashes?
  

In the meantime, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps in the article
Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Storeand see
if that helps in resolving the issue.

You can also, download the Chipset and Storage drivers from the manufacturer website of the motherboard and update them.

SO the Logs showed no errors at all during them times? They will be listed with a RED X Circle?????

Well if you just installed Windows 7 then make sure you have all your mobo drivers (chipset and all that stuff) from the mono vendor website, Then make sure you have your .net installed and updated as well as Direct X...THEN INSTALL THE AMD CATS!

 

Z87-A build, crashes and BSOD

I suppose the OS is installed on the SSD. You could try to install the OS on the hard drive. If the crashes stop the problem is the SSD.
