Windows 10: Problem with Compatibility mode: Windows XP and Windows 10

Hi,1. I created a program in Windows XP years ago. When it is installed on Windows 10 without setting compatibility mode, the data created from the program is stored in an unexpected place that I cannot find. I know how to fix this problem by setting compatibility mode to XP SP3 but the problem is that some users did not set XP SP3 before installing. I need to find their data. Q: Where would this data be located ?2. While testing on my win10 system, the op system is forcing XP SP3 mode for the exe I just installed. In Properties the mode selection is forced to XP SP3 and is grayed out so I

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I'd suggest trying the "Compatibility Mode" as others have suggested. Additionally check the option to "Disable Desktop Composition". If it still does not work I'd recommend running XP in a Virtual Machine or using a DOS emulator (assuming your games are that old).

Compatibility Mode in windows 7 Build 7048

Some games work for me in XP SP2 that do not work in XP SP3.

If I do compatibility mode, I always choose windows 95.
