Windows 10: Problem with Cool Edit Pro 2.0 on W10

I receive: Can not find the mixer program "sndvol32 /r" when I select Windows Recording Mixer.

Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.648)

Is there anything I can do to get Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (.ses) files to play on Windows Media Player or convert to a more easily uploadable format?

 

2 x SSD Raid 0 - is this right?

SES files were originally used by Syntrillium Software's Cool Edit Pro, which was acquired by Adobe in May, 2003. Adobe rebranded the software as Adobe Audition and released the first version of Adobe Audition later that year.
