Problem with DNS cache Windows 11 Wi-fi

I logged onto my Windows 11 PC to find the wifi was suddenly not working. In settings, it shows wifi as connected and secured, however every application I open says wifi is not connected or no internet. Every other device I own works fine. When I ran the troubleshooter, It says the DNS cache has a problem and tells me to restart my PC. I have restarted my PC multiple times as well as turning off power. I have also seen other posts like this but the solutions did not work. Please help me.

    :)

  2. Wi-Fi Option Not Showing in Windows 11

    Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with my Windows 11 device where the Wi-Fi option is not appearing. I have tried several troubleshooting steps, but none have resolved the problem. Could anyone please provide guidance or suggest potential solutions? Here are the steps I have taken so far:

    1. Restarted my computer.
    2. Checked for Windows updates and installed any available updates.
    3. Verified that the Wi-Fi adapter is enabled in Device Manager.
    4. Ran the network troubleshooter.
Despite these efforts, the Wi-Fi option is still missing from the network settings.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help.

  3. Wi-Fi Connection Issue: DNS Settings Notification

    Hello Community,

I’ve been experiencing an issue with my Wi-Fi connection and was hoping someone could provide some assistance.

Recently, I received a pop-up notification stating, “The DNS settings for all Wi-Fi networks have been set. The settings below won’t be used.” I believe this might be the reason I’m unable to connect to my Wi-Fi network.

I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps including resetting the router, checking the network settings, and even resetting the DNS settings. After these steps, the DNS notification no longer appears, but I’m still unable to connect to my Wi-Fi.

I’ve confirmed that there’s no issue with my hardware as other devices are able to connect to the same network without any problems.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

  4. Problem with DNS cache Windows 11 Wi-fi

    Wi-Fi errors (Windows 10)

I'm currently troubleshooting a HP laptop (HP G62-a10SQ to be more specific). The problem is that it doesn't want to connect to any Wi-Fi network. It leaves me with the generic error "Can't connect to this network." I've tried these steps so far

    • Restarting the computer
    • Flushing DNS
    • Releasing and renewing the ipconfig
    • Uninstalling the driver
    • Reinstalling the driver
    • Reseating the Wi-FI module
    • Checking Windows Update for any drivers
    • Updating the driver in Device Manager
    • Temporarily removing my Wi-Fi encryption
    • Trying to connect to a different Wi-Fi network outside of my network
    • Probably more troubleshooting steps I can't remember atm (I will edit the post if I remember anything)
