Windows 10: Problem with Dolby Access and Sound Blaster connect 2

Good evening! So I've been using Dolby Access App and Sound blaster connect 2 Program of my gaming headset for months now without any problems. Suddenly 3 days ago I found that in both, whenever I put one of the ready profiles they have eg Gaming, Movies, Music etc. there is no difference in the sound, while f

Sound Blaster Z - Dolby Digital surround sound cuts out

So I've sort of managed to solve the problem, and want to post this answer for the sake of anyone else encountering a similar issue. First of all, make sure to install the latest drivers, and version of Sound Blaster Z Control Panel.

When outputting over SPDIF (Sound Blaster Z), I selected "No Encoder" in Sound Blaster Z Control Panel, and enable the Dolby Digital setting on the speakers themselves (there's a button to toggle it on or off).

The sound coming out over the Leviathan seems to be 5.1, however it's difficult to tell because, duh, it's a soundbar, and all the speakers are right next to one another, and unfortunately the Sound Blaster Z Control Panel loses all ability to interact with the bar itself (I can't test the speaker output). It sounds good, however.

When I need to output over headphones I switch the output to headphones in the Sound Blaster Z Control Panel, and change the system sound output to Speakers (Sound Blaster Z).

With this setup I've had no drops, and no grief.

 

WINDOWS 10 - 1803 - DRIVERS NOT FUNCTIONING for Sound Blaster Z and Sound Blaster ZXR

DEAR WINDOWS EXPERTS:

I need to advise a few things:

1) For both computers, I use Windows 10.0.17134 Build 17134 – “1803” April 2018 Creative Update

2) This is a 64-Bit version of Windows.

3) We have one machine with Sound Blaster ZxR

4) We have one machine with Sound Blaster Z

5) Both have the same problems - NO 5-CHANNEL SOUND, and NO ACCESS TO THESE PARAMETERS

I have tried to run the setup in the extras directory as Creative (the manufacturers) have described in several e-mail messages (now we have been back and forth about five times). This did not
work.

I have tried to boot into Safe Mode and run the setup application again.

The setup files do not run in Safe Mode.

Can you please solve this matter?

Again, I have the same problem.

One computer has Soundblaster Zxr

Another computer has Soundblaster Z

Neither has access to Dolby Functions or the Cinematic Tab on the Sound Blaster Control Panel. (This tab ordinarily carries the Dolby Functions).



Please solve. Does Creative need to make a new driver?

Sound Blaster ZXR no sound through Optical output

I do get sound out of speakers device by utilizing the output 3.5mm jacks and RCA jacks on Creative Sound Blaster ZXR to my Logitech Z906 speakers. Did not think of trying to use the toslink and setting Digital Audio (S/PDIF) out as the default device in the sound properties.




I do get sound this way but still unable to use Dolby Digital Live or DTS Connect and do not get sound through setting speakers as the default device in Sound properties because i am unable set set Dolby Digital Live or DTS under encoders in Creative control panel.

Believe this may be an issue with the Dolby Digital Live pack and DTS Connect pack which get installed with driver software.

Read most of those Reddit issues like ours in my past research, closest i came to others having this problem.
True i feel Creative needs to solve this with updated software and drivers.
