Problem with file transfer speed over lan with W11

Hi communitiesI just got a new laptop and I experienced a very strange issue with file transfer speed over my local network.when I try to download or upload a big file from my NAS, the file transfer is always capped steadily at 30MB/s 300Mb/s, it even sometimes looks like it goes over that limit briefly and then come back to 30, as if there was a software limitation.so here are some things I can say :- I'm on a WiFi 6e access point and the laptop is WiFi 7 capable, with theoretical up and down max at more than 2000Mb/s in WiFi properties.- speedtest.net gives me around 800Mb/s up and down o

    :)

  2. LAN transfer speed fluctuation

I recently bought a new Win 10 laptop. I transfered my data from my old win7 laptop to the new one via lan cable. But the copying speed fluctuates between 11 MBPS to 200 KBPS. And am talking about a single large file of about 11 GB. I don't get it. I am
not using internet connection and only those two computers are connected via LAN. I just wanna know the reason for such fluctuation.

    Lan File Transfer

Have you gone over the entire config file for the FTP server you are running? 5mbps is low even for a 100mb line...Something is limiting the speed obviously...(Perhaps your machines storage system isn't fast enough?)

Can you post your ftp server configuration file here please?

IMHO the problem lies in either the configuration for your FTP server, or your FTP client.
If none of those options suffice, you could always try a different FTP server to determine where the problem is.
What client and server are you using? (Even if you could download multiple files with the client, I don't think* with your current setup it would be any faster - because of the root of the problem)
