    Problem with installing a Driver


    So today I had a problem with my driver, I wanted to delete and reinstall the driver. Its the AMD 560X and when I used the AMD cleanup utility it deleted it which I wanted. But the problem came with reinstalling it. After rebooting, it showed the driver in the device manager as the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I then downloaded the AMD 560X driver and selected update driver. But it didn’t work. The only thing showed was The best driver for your device is already installed. It wouldn’t let me install my own driver. I am sure I had the AMD 560X since I had it before deleting it. But it just

    It could be a problem with the monitors OSD chip.

    Hi!

    There seems to be a kind of a mess after deletion of your current driver.
    Have you tried step-by-step drivers update procedure including Driver Sweeper, deleting Prefetch and Temp folders, etc?

    Read my guide, goes step buy step for nvidia driver install. Though I use a different driver cause I got 8 series, same method of installation
