Windows 10: problem with installing a new windows

hi, I have an Acer Travelmate B117 series. when I try to install a new windows with usb, in the bios menu it doesn't show me the option to boot from usb. when I try to restart via advanced setup and select to boot via usb drive, a message pops up telling me that there isn't an usb device installed, and gives me an option to just boot via normal windows. I have done the same with other computers millions of times with the same usb and I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong. any help please?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
