    Problem with installing windows after clearing discs


    So for a few days now my pc was doing automatic repairs after long sessions. I decided to clear the discs completely even from windows and start with a fresh installation. I’m using a pendrive to install it but the installer doesn’t want to open. I chose the right booting order in bios but still it doesn’t work. It worked twice but I need it to do it one more time for a reason. I have no idea how it worked twice since now when I try all the possible combinations in options of bios somehow it doesn’t want to open the installation again. Can someone help me with that? I already installed windows 10 on one of the discs but I think it’s broken and my pc won’t turn on on this disc so I have to install it on another one that should work.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

    Well problem solved it didn't seem to like the mouse i had plugged in *Big Grin Problem with installing windows after clearing discs :D

    It takes about 5min for to load each step in the windows setup? The disc drive will stop for about 5min then spin up and finally load? it does this for every step in the setup? very odd.

    Clear Pagefile on Shutdown


    I've been looking into clearing the pagefile, and I found the following steps at a somewhat dated webpage:
    1. In the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
    2. Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown to the REG_DWORD value of 1.
    3. Restart Windows.
    I'm just wondering whether those steps are still valid, and, if so, does clearing the pagefile work as advertised?
