Windows 10: problem with microsoft directx runtime

I would like to see my frame rate for my msi afterburner application in order to do that i need microsoft runtime the latest version that came up was from 2021 and the installer crashed on me is there any newer versions that won't crash?

Keep getting notifications about installing directx runtime but nothing is fixing it.

• Download xinput1_3.dll and save it to the Desktop.
  
• Move the file to C:\Windows\System32
  
• Overwrite the existing file when prompted.
