Windows 10: Problem with MSERT! does it remove infections.

Discus and support Problem with MSERT! does it remove infections. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; while scanning, there were 9 infections but when it completed the scan it said 0 infections found.     Problem with MSERT! does it remove infections.


    while scanning, there were 9 infections but when it completed the scan it said 0 infections found. The same is written in log file as well. Please guide me to fix this.should i download any other version or is there an updated version??

    MSERT Log Empty

    Why does MSert tell me I have 16 infections but at the end it says no virus found and the log is empty with no listed infections?

    Hello All, thanks for your responses.

    I downloaded the MSERT from Microsoft support and there's

    only 3 options to scan. Quick scan, Full scan and Quick scan with

    a custom file addition. The first Quick scan showed 232 infections

    while scanning as I stated. Well I ran a full scan and found 243 while

    scanning. It seems to be finding the Pups in each scan but DOESN'T

    remove them.?

    At the root of my problem is. I was hacked last week and want to be sure

    I'm clean as possible. Does it sound like MSERT has been helpful? I've locked

    down and changed the necessary items.

    What's a needed next step? much thanks SK.

    Why is MSERT is not producing a report even when it finds infected files?

    I ran the MSERT. It found infected files. No report was produced. Why? So are the files removed or not?
