Windows 10: Problem with my Laptop's MSI Modern 14 B11MOU Internal Audio Speaker Realtek R Audio

So last night i updated my windows and suddenly after i restarted, my laptop's internal audio doesn't work. For context i have a software which raises my laptops speakers called FxSound, after i used it, everytime i turn on my laptop i need to choose which ouput device do i want to use in my volume mixer settings cause by default, this software chooses it to "FxSound Audio Enhancer" and on startup there will be no audio coming out of my laptop, so i need to choose my internal audio "Speaker Realtek R Audio first, then after that the FxStudio Audio Enhancer will activate and then sound will

i have been going nuts trying to fix this.

my laptop speaker has not worked and I have tried all the following steps:

1. reinstall audio drive
   
2. update to the latest audio driver
   
3. rollback audio driver
   
4. tested different sound formats
   
5. checked to see if realtek r is set to default
   
6. checked to see if realtek r sound was enabled
   
7. checked to see if the sound was muted
   
8. troubleshooting
   
9. turning off audio enhancements
   
10. restarting.
    

this has been a small problem, from time to time the speakers might work, but a lot of the time it doesn't.

when I try to play a game or watch a youtube video, there is no sound, yet the speaker icon depicts that it is fine.

when I use the settings to test sound, the sound bar shows that there is sound but there is no sound coming from the speakers, I don't

know if this is a hardware problem, but I have tried researching and nothing has worked.

if you think there is a solution, please help.

here's a sample of what the Realtek Audio Control or Realtek Audio Console looks like - I have v6.0.8904.1 Realtek UAD driver installed on a Toshiba laptop and running v1.9.214.0 of the Realtek Audio Console app from MS store





edit - If Realtek Audio Console is installed on a modern motherboard from ASUS, Gigabyte or Microstar International (MSI), you may get a Realtek Audio Console version with a customized UI from any one of these motherboard makers rather than with the standard
version that I have.

My laptop has two separate 3.5 jacks for speaker + microphone. However, the speaker jack can still operate the microphone if the headset has a built-in microphone (this is confirmed because I bought a used laptop)

i don't know since when i've had this problem, because i usually use type-c port headphones, and it works fine. I recently switched to 3.5mm type headphones

about my laptop having nahimic. i tried uninstall nahimic. then select input using realtek(R) audio microphone. however the microphone still doesn't work, so the problem I'm having is definitely not nahimic related

Driver update shows the driver name (realtek high definition audio). but when restarting the laptop, the driver still shows the name realtek (r) audio.

Is that really normal?
