    problem with my speaker and it is showing cross on speaker on task bar and it is saying no...


    i don't have a Audio input and output and Sound, video and game controller option in my device manager. they are only show up only when i connected to my Bluetooth.i tried different ways to solve. but I can't figure it out. is there any to help me with my problem?this is before connecting with the BluetoothThis is after connecting with the bluetooth

    Speaker button on task bar

    When I click on the speaker button on my task bar, nothing happens. I am unable to increase the volume of my speakers.

    no sound plays through internal speakers

    I cannot get any sound to play through the internal speakers of my laptop. It did play previously. The speaker in the task bar has a red and white x and the trouble shooter says no speakers headphones plugged in. When I pull up the info on sound it lists
    its location at HDMI port. Suggestions?

    My speaker with a Red-Cross

    Hello CraigLong:

    As you suggested that HP told me to download the new Conexant HD Audio Driver.

    After installing the new driver, the "red-cross on the speaker" went away immediately.
