Windows 10: problem with netplwiz action for removing requirement for passcode login

I just purchased 2 HP PCs for my elementary school age granddaughters to use for virtual classrooms. Both have Windows 10 version 1909. I tried to use netplwiz to disable the sign-in passwords and pass codes, but something went wrong. I thought I followed the instructions to uncheck the box and in the next window type the password. The result is I now have two accounts on startup, and both require the password pass code. How can I undo this? Somewhere on this site there may be an answer, but I have not found it.

as you have already tried to disable the login password from netplwiz, I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on Start and select Control Panel.
• click on Categories and select Large icons.
• Click on Power Options.
• In the left navigation pane, click on Require password on wakeup.
• Click on Change settings that are currently unavailable.
• Select the option, Don't require a password and click on
  Save changes.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the four digit pin for login screen and check if it helps.

• Press “Windows+X” and go to “Settings”.
• Click on “Accounts”, under “Sign-in options” you will find pin option.
• Go to pin option and click on “Remove” it will remove the pin from your computer login screen.

I suggest you to try the below steps to remove the user account from your computer.

• 
  Login to your computer through administrator account.
  
• 
  Press Windows key + r and type
  netplwiz, hit Enter.
  
• 
  Select the user account, you want to remove.
  
• 
  Click on the Remove button.
