Windows 10: problem with non-unicode telugu fonts after latest microsoft windows 11 update

In the recent update to Windows 11, non-unicode fonts are not working. Not only telugu fonts, but even non-unicode English fonts are completely not working at all in my Windows 11, and I tried some software, like Photoshop, to use unicode fonts at this time, but it also did not work for non-unicode fonts. but Wordpad works well with the method of converting non-unicode to unicode. First, I suppose this is a problem with only Photoshop, but after several hours of research, I have concluded it. Can you please tell me which was the last update you did on your system? You can view the last Windows update installed on your Windows 11 system by following these steps:

1. Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.

2. Click on Windows Update from the left panel.

3. Click on Update history from the right panel.

4. You can see Windows 11 update history on the next page.

This will show you a list of all the updates that have been installed on your system, including quality updates, drivers, definition updates (Microsoft Defender Antivirus), feature updates, and optional Windows 11 updates.

The most recent update will be at the top of this list.

We can try installing Telugu Supplemental fonts and see if that helps. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows logo key + I, to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & Features from the left pane.
   
3. Click on Optional features.
   
4. Now, click on Add a feature and look for
   Telugu Supplemental Fonts.
   
5. Click on it and select Install.
   

Telugu Supplemental Fonts have only Gautami and Vani fonts, however, you can also use your favorite search engine and look for a software or font that suits you best.
