Windows 10: Problem with Nvidia GPU

Hello, I'm having problems with the GPU on my Acer Laptop. So I wanted to play this game I just got on Steam, but I can't because my GPU's got issues. First time I launched it, the game ran "decently" there was some lag, but otherwise it ran ok on the Intel graphics, but when I tried switching it to the dedicated graphics for better performance, the game suddenly crashed. So I restarted my laptop hoping it would fix the problem, but the second time I tried, I got the BSOD. I thought it had something to do with the drivers, so I tried updating it on Geforce Experience, but the app couldn't in

Problems with NVIDIA GEFORCE GPU and DirectX

Well I'm logged into a Microsoft account if that's what you're asking. Prior to the issue the only things I did that could be considered change were installing DirectX 11 and changing which GPU the games would use via NVIDIA Control Panel.

No, it isn't specific to any game. Any game that uses a GPU will not launch.

 

Windows 10 CPU usage 100% when Nvidia GPU enabled

I've had the same problem, and have exactly the same GPU model. I was able to set the drivers back to factory default, but any update I've tried (including the most recent) causes the massive cpu usage. I've contacted tech support for both Nvidia and Asus,
and followed all the steps they suggested, with no luck.

 

NVIDIA GPU Laptop error code 45

I have a msi laptop with RTX 3070 laptop gpu and i have some problems with it, at first the gpu is not listed at the device manager but after i checked the show hidden device option, the gpu showed but there is an error code 45 and its not working, i tried to install the nvidia driver manually by downloading the newest driver from the official nvidia website but it didnt work the driver installer says the graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware. Please help
