Windows 10: Problem with Pop-up menu to wifi, bluetooth, airplane mode, battery economy, focus,...

My pop-up menu to choose a wifi or turn on/off bluetooth or to control the volume isn't showing up. I can't tell when it started, but if i want to connect to a wifi or a bluetooth device i have to go all the way into the config menu. Tried restarting explorer and some stuff, but it didn't work.

Airplane mode with Bluetooth ON?


Is there a way to keep Bluetooth on in the airplane mode? My application is on a cruise ship where I would like to easily turn WiFi off using the convenient airplane mode selection and leave Bluetooth on for my mouse on my Venue 10 tablet.

 

Wifi can't be turned off, unless by airplane mode

I recently bought an ASUS a456ur, and had windows 10 anniversary update installed into it. I had this problem: i can't turn off the wifi unless i turn on the airplane mode, and make all the connection turned off, including bluetooth, which i needed to connect to a bluetooth speaker of mine. And also, if i turned on the airplane mode, i can't turn it off by turning on wifi.
i tried to turn off the wifi by various way. i tried to disabling it from the menu popped out when you click the wifi logo from your notification bar, i tried to disabling it from the settings, and tried to disabling it from the actiion center, and none of them is working.
things i have done:
try disabling wifi from ubuntu, and it works,
updating the driver of the network devices

 

W10 Airplane Mode UI error

Found this today in list of known W10 issues:
"After logging into your PC, you may hit a UI issue in which Airplane Mode will incorrectly show as “on” even though your PC’s Wi-Fi is powered on (the UI essentially does not wait long enough for the device’s physical radios to power on before reporting the current state), but you can just toggle Airplane Mode as a workaround".
So I just toggle Bluetooth on/off which clears the Airplane Mode indicator.
