Windows 10: Problem with prtscr button, can't use it anymore for 3rd apps.

Hi. I have problem with printscreen button.so, my 3rd apps still recognize that button when I assign hotkey for it. Take alook at this. now it is "pause", I will hit "prtscr" on my keyboardNow it sucesfully changeHowever, it doesn't work. Whenever I hit the "prt scr" button on the keyboard, my app won't function. But the print screen still works, so I have to manually paste it to Paint, then crop it manually, etc. This has been happening for the past few months, so it's been more than a year since I could use third-party apps successfully. Now I can't anymore, and even other apps Lightshot,

PrtScr Question

I use two user accounts on my laptop. One professional & other personal.

While using the pro account if I hit the PrtScr button the screenshot gets saved in the screenshots folder which is great.

If am using the personal account when I hit the PrtScr button the screenshot doesn't get saved. I have to open an app like paint, paste it there & then save it.

Is there any settings that I can change where it saves the image automatically?

Hi Petre,

This might be caused by a software conflict. As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest resetting the app and see if it helps. To do that, follow the steps below:

• Go to Settings.
• Select System.
• On the left-panel, click Apps & features.
• Look for the app on the list then click it.
• Click the Advanced options link.
• Click the Reset button.
• If resetting did not work or not available, click the Repair
  button instead.
• Restart your PC.

If the issue still persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app and see if it helps.

Alt+PrtScr is not working.

Hi Jerin P George i would suggest you first make sure that your Alt and PrtScr key working to check click Kerboard
tester.

IF it won't, try Win + PrtScr Button for screenshot the snap will automatically saved in screenshot folder.
