Problem with RAM reserved to harware

Yesterday, CS:GO was loading in my PC, but 5 minutes passed and I realised that the whole PC was frozen, so i just turned it off.

Later I started it again, and I tried to play RDR2, but a message saying that I dont have the minimum ram requirements showed up. This message never showed up to me, so I thought that would be just an error and dismissed it.

But when I started playing I noticed the typical stuttering, not very severe, but just annoying, so I checked the properties of my PC and to my surprise it said that only 3'95 GiB of ram were available from the 8 that I've installed, and 4 were reserved to hardware.

The strange part for me is that this problem came from nowhere. I have had this PC for over 1 year and I never had this problem.

I've already seen many posts with the same problem, but I have not found a solution yet.

I updated everything I could in my PC and I used the solution where you enter MSConfig and change the setting that worked for like 2 or 3 hours, until my PC restarted by itself while playing, and the same RAM problem showed up again, so I just unchecked all the boxes from the BOOT window in MSConfig, like many solutions said, but again, it did nothing. I even cleaned the RAM's physically, but it didn't seem to do nothing.

The only solution I have left or that I've read, is to update my BIOS, but I would like to know if there's any other solution, because updating my BIOS means to take my PC to the store since I don't want to do that by myself I know I could mess my PC badly if I don't do it properly.

    :)

Harware Reserved linked to number of processors?

That seems unusually high 50% reserved. Perhaps that is your Video card reserving ram.

The laptop I'm using is a budget Toshiba amd quad core and its graphic card reserves 1gb of ram.

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
