Windows 10: Problem with running apps as administrator in order for the apps to work.

i constantly get the popup "do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" and even if i press yes, the app doesnt open and it keeps showing the same popup, this happens to all apps that i try to run as administrator. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE ANSWER COMPLICATED, I DONT KNOW **** ABOUT PCS, IM NOT A TECH EXPERT.

Try the troubleshooter first: Go to Settings - System - Troubleshoot - Other troubleshooters, then select and run the "Windows Store Apps" troubleshooter.

Then to Run applications as Administrator without confirmation, please follow the steps below.

Right-click the app's shortcut or .exe file.

Then choose Properties.

Then go to the Compatibility tab.

Click Change settings for all users.

Check the box Run this program as an administrator.

Click OK twice.

Now, when you double-click the app, it should run as administrator without the prompt.

when I attempted the troubleshooter for windows store apps it said that it couldn't detect the problem, so I moved onto the next step which was to go onto go onto the app's properties. I went onto the apps properties and it showed that the boxed were already ticked, so I tried to run the app from the shortcut and the problem was unaffected.

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
