Windows 10: Problem with screen resolution on Sony Laptop VPCF125FX Windows 10

The computer has NVidia GT-330-M with proper driver installed. The display is supposed to be 1600 x 900, but this resolution is not available in display settings. The highest shown is 1200 x 800.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks.

I upgrade win 7 to win 10. When I restart my laptop (Sony-Vaio) some time screen resolution change automatically. In settings is display that resolution is change in to "1360x768". I can not change it back to "1600x900". Screen split into two segment. Only
if I restart my laptop for 6-7 times then it comes to it normal resolution. How to solve this problem?

 

SOUND ORGANISER INCOMPATIBILITY WITH WINDOWS 10

I have bought the Sony Recorder ICD-SX1000 and also other smaller Sony recorders, but incompatible with my Windows 10!! Frustrating!! Has anyone managed to find another Sound Organiser software that is compatible with Windows 10?

PROBLEM SOLVED

I discovered that my 17 inch laptop which is Windows 10 was able to utilise the Sound Organiser properly, no problem. So, WHY THE DESKTOP had this incredibly miniscule size of letters on the screen? It was not Windows 10 that is the problem, I found, it
was my monitor screen resolution!!

I have changed my new monitor that was a new Viewsonic back to my old Samsung monitor and everything is now back to normal, HOORAY!!

It was not Windows 10 that is the problem, it was my monitor screen!!!

 

rchalk, welcome to the forums. Did you use a driver from Nvidia, or from the Sony website?

 

Found a newer driver at NVidia, and now it is OK. Thanks.
