Windows 10: Problem with the Microsoft Store/Xbox PC app

I'll include both of these issues in one question as I believe both of these don't work because of one specific thing which I can't troubleshoot for some reason. My problem is - I cannot install games from the xbox game pass via microsoft store, the window just bricks the moment I press "install". The same happens when I try opening the settings in said store. as for the Xbox PC app - I can't get it to install, It bricks the moment I press 'install" as well. I have tried uninstalling xbox live and I've ran the troubleshooting thingie for the Microsoft Store, it instructs me to reset the app settings, which actually doesn't do anything to the app, it doens't sign me out - nothing. I'm completely lost trying to get both of these things to work so I can enjoy my xbox game pass but whatever I try it doesn't help. Is there any easy fix to this issue? Should I just reinstall Windows 10?

P.S. Windows 10 is up to date, checked to see if it is today (4.12.2019).
