Windows 10: problem with the OS maybe?

I have a problem with launching some programs, many people I know have the same version of Windows etc as me and everything works fine for them. I talked to support and tried to see with an update, if it was the fault of a corrupt OS version but nothing. Some programs don't respond to opening or take a long time to open, others work incorrectly. I have a program that serves has masking my HWID, it stops and doesn't go anymore. months ago it was working now it doesen't. This program should open the cmd and run there where it should show various functions, but it gets stuck loading. I tried usi

Run HDtune (free version) on you hard drive. but most likely that the problem. You can also test your memory with Memtest86 as suggested above

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
