Windows 10: Problem with the Taskbar, Windows Update and Microsoft Store

Good afternoon, dear! When loading Windows, an almost empty taskbar appears. After about 2 minutes, the sound of the connected device is played, the panel becomes normal and the startup of programs from autorun begins. If you turn off the Ethernet, the system starts normally.Windows Update is in perpetual download. But after a while he writes something like: "Something went wrong. Try restarting the settings menu"Microsoft Store gives error 0x80246008 when trying to install something

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and then try to download the applications from the Windows store.

1) Open Command Prompt with administrative privileges.

2) Type following commands one by one:

• net stop wuauserv

• cd\windows

• rename SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bck

• net start wuauserv

For Taskbar issue try to follow the below steps and check if it helps.



1) Type and Open Taskbar and start menu properties from the search box.

2) Make sure that you have unchecked the auto hide the taskbar.

Microsoft Store is not working

Do let us know the exact issue you are facing in accessing the Windows Store?

Have you tried to reset the Windows Store as stated in the above response?

If the issue still persists after deploying the above troubleshooting steps, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
and check.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
Large icons.

3. Click on
Troubleshooting.

4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

5. Click
Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
