    Problem with verification email


    I just swapped some parts into my pc and when I tried to log in I put my main email and password for my account. It then sent me to a “verify your identity” tab with a verification code request for an email I don’t have access to anymore. I then tried to change my security info and after doing that It said I would have to wait 30 days for it to process. I can’t wait 30 days I depend on this for work so I canceled it hoping I could find a faster way. I can still sign into my Microsoft account on my phone but when I try to do any security changes it asks me for the same verification prompt to si

    The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).

    Two ways out of this.

    • Try requesting for the verification email to be resent on a PC browser.
    • you could also consider chatting with gethelp.live.com > BILLING > CONTACT US. Find out what is wrong with the id.
