Windows 10: Problem with video streaming and internet connection generaly

Hello, hope every is in a good mood and health.


I use a Lenovo laptop with a win 10 version.

Whenever I play a video on any site from any browser, it keeps buffering and resuming on specific intervals.

I thought it was an internet problem but videos plays normally on all devices I had like my other laptop, mobile and TV.

Also when I play a video while downloading, the download stops and resumes at the same intervals as the video.

I hope you find a solution quickly...

We appreciate your time responding back to us and being patient to get this issue resolved. With how you describe your concern, you're watching YouTube videos over the internet. Streaming videos will store a lot of cache and cookies in your browser's memory.
We suggest that you clear the cache and cookies of your browser. Kindly follow these steps to clear cache and cookies:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Press Ctrl + Shift + Del to open the
  Delete Browsing History window.
• Mark all of the checkboxes (optional).
• Click Delete and close Internet Explorer.

After clearing the cache and cookies, check if the issue is fixed.

Video has a mild stutter, streaming and some local files


Thanks for the suggestion. MPC-HC does a little better than VLC and WMP with MP4 files recorded before this problem started, but there's still some stutter.

However, that doesn't help with streaming video. As noted, streams play smoothly on an old Blu-ray player, and the internet connection is not the problem. I get the same thing with IE11, Edge, and Chrome.

OK, the problem has returned. The reason streaming video is not working (again) is due to the fact that there's no sound on the PC. I've tried all the usual troubleshooting procedures, updated all drivers but to avail.
Has anyone any suggestions?
