Windows 10: Problem with Volume Control in task bar windows 10.

Hi There,


I was having a problem with volume control in task bar would not open, so I went on YouTube to find the answer which I think I had,

which basically said restart Window Explorer which I did and the volume control popped up so I did think problem solved.

BUT well nearly every time now I reboot my Laptop I have to I have to restart windows explorer to make it popup, any idea

what might be causing this problem.

Windows 10 Defender - How to make it default to task bar?

Using Windows 10 and currently I am using Defender for anti virus. For whatever reason Windows Defender does not show up in the task bar unless I search for the program or right click and scan a file/folder. Is there a way to force Defender to show up in the task bar at start up?

On the bottom right of the task bar, when I click on the volume icon the volume display doesn't appear.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
