Windows 10: Problem with webcam for HP HDX16 series notebook in windows 10. Can't find appropriate drivers

Hi, I am getting this error:Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43 A request for the USB device descriptor failed.Device USB\VID_0000&PID_0002\5&28c7b3c5&0&2 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.This is occuring on an HP HDX16 series laptop. The device with the error is the built in web cam. HP's web site has removed all the drivers for this machine and have listed its support life as "ended". Is there any way to fix this issue?I downloaded Realtek's driver hoping it would work and that is where the partial match comes in.

As it is mentioned by the manufacturer that the drivers will be installed by Windows update, I request you to check for the updates.

Please check your Windows updates (including optional updates).

• At the Start screen, type Windows Update.
• Select Check for Update.
• Download and Install the latest Windows Updates, if any.

HP Integrated webcam not detected and unknown UBS device - Windows 10

Thanks, I have tried the troubleshoot options on internet but no success including suggested above multiple time.

I have HP G60 Notebook PC with what I thought had an internal webcam.

You need to have a software application in order to use a webcam, whether it's internal or external.

Most laptops that have a built-in webcam (and that's probably almost all of them) likely have a camera application bundled with the rest of the so-called bloatware that's installed by the manufacturer. For HP G60 Notebooks, this was called "Cyberlink YouCam
Software."

There are several different series of HP G60 notebooks. Do you have a 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, or 600 series? or what is the serial number of your G60 Notebook?

What version of Windows is currently installed?

Click Start and type Cyberlink in the Search box. If that doesn't produce anything, see if webcam or YouCam gets any result.

See if you have a webcam and if it's properly installed:

Open Device Manager (click Start, type Device Manager in the Search box, and press Enter)
