Windows 10: Problem with windows 10 October 2020 update.

Hello. I've noticed that recent changes in windows update have caused background blur error in start menu .

You can notice that video in the background appears for a second and then blurs. It's really annoying.


This seems to happen while watching videos from streaming sites like YouTube, Vimeo, etc. It also happens on windows apps like Netflix, prime video.


Is there any way to fix it.


I am using hp pavillion x360 btw.

October 2020 update is in the last phase of testing as it was released last month to the Release preview channel. As far as the name goes, it should release this month.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
