Windows 10: Problem with Windows 10 taskbar

Hi all,i have a problem with the icons in the taskbar of windows 10. Since a few days ago each time i try to use any of the icons in the taskbar i get this error message:this file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action...but this is happenig with the icons of the applications in the taskbar google chrome, outlook, windows explorer...I have tried to create new icons but issue is the same.I have triedsfc /scannowDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealthDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealthDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealthbut it has not worked.Appplications

having a problem with Windows 10 taskbar. help needed,

It's still happening after i have done the above mentioned steps. I was running FireFox, I had 3 tabs open. 2 were Newegg.com, 1 was TPU. Closing them did NOT resolve the issue. Im starting to think that this is being caused by a windows process. notifications are entirely off too. FFS, this is really annoying.

I tried This fix, and im Hoping it will work.

I Also installed "start10" and customised the start Menu, and Added a proper start button. Still no frozen taskbar, and its been Far longer than it normally takes until it used to happen.

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Problem with a combine taskbar icons.

Hello,

In Windows 10, you can personalize the settings of your taskbar. If there are multiple applications opened, same applications will be combined under one taskbar button. If you want to change this setting, we suggest that you follow the steps listed below:

• Press the Start button.
• Click on the Settings app.
• Select Personalization.
• At the left side of your window, click on Taskbar.
• Under Combine taskbar buttons, choose Never.
