    Hi Everyone,

My wifi keeps getting disconnected every 30-40 minutes or so. Switching on or off from the hardware switch Fn + Wifi does not even reboot the wifiadapter on laptop. It shows no network to connect, despite having my wifi router working alright with other laptops / mobile phones.

I have to reset wireless network adapter on laptop everytime to connect with any available WIFI network! This is painful, because I am working from home during COVID pandemic and cannot afford frequent disconnection.

I have installed all windows updates, updated the wifi adapter driver to the latest one from Dell's website. This issue started on Windows version 1909 3 days ago and I upgraded to version 2004 day before yesterday, thinking it would solve the problem, but nothing happened!

  2. Problem with the Wireless Adapter or access point

I have upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, since 22 August 2015 from Window 7 Professional. My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad Y570.

The problem that I am phasing since I have upgraded concerns the wireless adapter. Every time that I start up my laptop is unable to connect to the wireless network of my home so I have to lunch troubleshooting which gives me the following results:

The "Local Area Connection 2" adapter is not working properly - Detected

Problem with wireless adapter or access point - Fixed

Every time I have to do this and then my laptop can connect to the wireless network.

Please tell me how to permanently resolve this issue.

Kindly write your answer as simply and detailed as possible so that I can follow the steps.

    Thank you very much.

Dell Inspiron 15 Windows 10 Wireless Drivers

    Hi all,

I just came here to post about the Dell Inspiron 15 Wireless driver for Windows 10 for whom who might had problem like me.

After upgrading my Inspiron 15 machine from windows 8.1 to 10, everything were working fine except for my Wireless WIFI which was connecting to my Router with Limited access.

It was really weird as it could connect to other networks correctly and not my router.

I short the story, just foud that the driver is not match with Windows 10 so it's not connecting properly.

I tried several driver but I only could fix it with method bellow and I post it here hope helps others...

I tried to update the driver and Windows couldn't find any.

So, to fix the driver issue which is Dell Wireless 1703, select update driver from list and uncheck the incompatible items to list other incompatible drivers.

The list have an Item named Dell Wireless 1707. Install that and it works.

The driver still shows as 1703 but if you go to driver details you see that the driver in fac is using the 1707 version which works fine.

    Hope it helps....
