Windows 10: Problems after installing latest Windows 10 update

The latest Windows update has caused many problems with my computer including:

1. Many manual shutdowns and startups needed to even get the computer to stay on. First it would start with a completely blank screen. Using Ctl-Alt-Del many times I was able to get it to open to the sign-on screen but it would only stay on for a few seconds before going blank again. Also did Manual power downs, even to the point of disconnecting power.

2. The Settings Screen only opens to the Home Screen of each category and no action can be taken from there.

3. I attempted to update Mozilla Firefox without success and when trying to open a page in Firefox, the page will not open.


I will try reinstalling the update to see if that would help. Frankly, this is not the first time I have had issues with Windows updates so if I can get this one to work, I will stop updating or switch to another OS.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

There very simple and i've already tried them. The problem that i face is that the software (this app) does not find any updates for me .
Many people across the world have this issues .So you need the proxy etc thing to get it to work.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
