Windows 10: Problems creating folders and similar issues in apps.

Hi, I am using Windows 11 and I got some issues recently. They could be related.Problem one : If I create a folder in file explorer it takes sometimes 20-30 seconds to be actually created.Problem two : For my job I am using some apps to program home automation systems, and I saw the same issue there. If I create a light scene for example it has been created but I will not see in the list in the app I am using until I refresh the app. I know the item had been created because If I try to create an other one with the same name the app warns me it already exists but not showing. Has anyone else go

The problem you've encountered in creating a folder could be caused by software or program conflict as the issue appeared a few days after installing the Windows 10 Creators update. For us to know if this only occurs when creating a new folder from the desktop,
we suggest that you try creating a new folder using a keyboard shortcut or from File Explorer. Please refer to the steps below:

Creating a new folder using a keyboard shortcut.

• Click on the desktop.
• Press CTRL + SHIFT + N.
• A new folder should be created.

Creating a new folder from File Explorer.

• Open File Explorer.
• Hover your mouse on the location where you want to create a new folder.
• Right-click it, go to New > Folder.

cannot create folders in windows mail app

when I go to 'more' in the mail app and click + a dialog display appears however when I enter the name of a new folder and click enter it appears momentarily in the folder list then disappears and a message appears at the top screen saying that the action could not be completed. I have tried the suggestions from the windows help site but nothing works. it appears that my only solution is to uninstall and reinstall the app, however that is not possible because I don't want to lose all my e-mails and accounts.
I think that the problem is definitely with the app and not some weird Windows thing because I can create new folders with my Gmail account.
Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks in advance

 

Split Steam app folder between 2 HDD?

As the title suggests I want to find out if there's a way I can split my steam app folder on to 2 drives, specifically an SSD that I will be putting my OS and most used games and apps and a regular HDD for everything else?
