    Problems installing vc2008sp1 on windows 10 Pro


    I recently bought Battlefield 3, a 2011 game which uses vc2008sp1 with thex64 and x86 redist, but when installing there is an error saying that these weren't installed successfully. So I tried installing it separately from Microsoft official website, but as soon as I start the installationg even as admin, it just shows extracting and location. I have a Windows 10 Pro system. I see that the support for vc2008 as been discontinues or so the website says. I wanna play that game, help me out here please. Everything is up to date.

    Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

    I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.

    As far as I am aware there is no Windows 10 Pro version.
    But I'd be happy to be wrong.
