Windows 10: problems loading windows after update

Hello,

today I did an update of Windows 10. After that, I can't load windows anymore. I arrive to a blue screen with written "Choose your keyboard layout"". I can just select few options and once I select US I arrive to a new page with written "Choose an option". Ünder "Trobleshoot"" I get the following errors:

- Startup repair: "Startup repair couldn't repair your PC

- System restore: "restart this computer, select an operating system and then select System restore""

- Uninstall updates: doesn't work either...


Can somebody help me? I really need to fix this since I'm working from home due to the emergency in Italy

Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?

 

geforce experience takes an age to load..

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.

 

Windows Update loading forever

Let us check the system Files.To do this do both of these:

• Perform System File Check (SFC)

Follow the steps:

a. Press “Windows Key + Q” to open search Bar.

b. Type “cmd” without quotes in the search box.

c. On the left pane, right click on the “cmd” option and select “Run as Administrator”.

d. Type ‘sfc /scannow’ without quotes and hit enter.

• run the System update readiness command. It detects incorrect manifests, cabinets or registry data, it may replace the incorrect data with corrected version available. Follow the steps.

1. Press Windows key + X.
2. Click command prompt (Run as administrator).
3. In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type the following commands. Press Enter key after each command:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
To close the Administrator: Command prompt window, type Exit, and then press Enter.
