Windows 10: problems opening various apps and functions

So I have Pc health check and it says everything is running fine and I have malware protections and it says my PC is good but I can't open apps like the snip it tool, Xbox app, even the get help app on the contact us Microsoft store won't open I'm running the latest version of Windows 11, I got no idea what to do I've tried simply restarting as well as uninstalling the apps that aren't working and I can't even download all the apps I uninstalled I'm getting a try again later, something happened on our end notification.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!

Can I customize the list of suggest apps in the "Open with" menu?

You can't use it to add additional programs, only to set default programs.

Interestingly for me it shows nothing for text files:








Then if I want to add a portable app like Jarte Plus to open with context menu windows doesn't like it.





It's not present and is near impossible to add even via "look for an app on this PC"
