    Problem Steps Recorder - Not Opening - Windows 10

    I just upgraded to Windows 10 (PRO, 64bit) from Windows 7. Problem Steps Recorder (PSR) will not open. I have located it in Apps and its .exe location. When executed it does not open.

    I found one proposed solution online that showed a registry change of the key directory:

    hkey_local_machine\software\policies\microsoft\windows\AppCompat to

    hkey_local_machine\software\policies\microsoft\windows\AppCompat_HOLD

    When I made this change, PSR started working properly. However, after a reboot, the original AppCompat directory was reinstalled in the registry (the new "AppCompat_HOLD" was still there). PSR no longer would work. Is there another solution?
