Windows 10: Problems to get the BitLocker password recent change of hard drive from HDD to SSD

I just changed the hard drive HDD to a new SSD, now connecting the HDD old hard drive via USB is asking me for the BitLocker passwordI didn't know that my computer had this security so I didn't get the code prior to doing the change. I already tried using the link https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey however it says I do not have any BitLocker pass attached to my Microsoft account.It is really important to me to recover all the information in this hard drive since there are a lot of family documents, data from work etc. I have around 15 days without access to this data, I h

Hello Keith,

We suggest to change it from Control Panel. You may follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
• Click Unlock drive.
• Type your present password and click Unlock.
• The drive will be unlocked and you will notice more links on the right of that particular unlocked drive, click
  Change password.
• Now, you may type your Old password, New password and Confirm new password.
• Click Change password.

Confused about hard drives: HDD and SSD

Browsing through the Microsoft Store for a new pc, I see various hard drives listed, such as:

16GB eMMC

32GB eMMC

500GB 5400 RPM HDD

2GB DDR3L 1600 MHz

32GB SSD [?]

64GB SSD

I understand that solid state drives are good, though expensive. What I don't understand is what size of an SSD would be the equivalent of, say, a terabyte HD? It seems that 64GB is the largest SSD offered here. What size HDD would equal that capacity?

And, BTW, what is an eMMC?

I don't understand why you changed the boot order in your BIOS.

When you image or clone an HDD, and restore the image or clone to an SSD, you've got an identical copy of your computer on a different hard drive. Nothing has changed, really. So the next step is to remove the HDD from your computer and replace it with the
SSD, then carry on as normal.
